RSS feeds

Sometime ago when I started getting into blogs, I heard about RSS feeds and wondered what they were. If you are not familiar with RSS feeds, they are a way to be updated via an email/RSS reader program when blogs have new posts. I use Thunderbird an open source ( I will explain open source later) from Mozilla. it is available for both pc's and Mac's ( not that Macs have intel inside and run windows, wonder if will need new terms).
